Highly dosed with a broad spectrum of bacteria
Nupure probaflor plus contains 20 selected strains of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria that naturally colonize the human intestine. It thus covers a broad spectrum of intestinal bacteria that can colonize different habitats in the intestine. Unlike many other manufacturers, we are transparent and specify the exact strains - these are available for you to view at any time on the label and our website.
Per daily dose probaflor plus supplies the intestine with 25 billion living bacteria cultures (CFU).
To ensure a targeted release in the intestine, the capsule shell is enteric-coated. The bacteria are thus protected from gastric acid and reach their target and effective site in the intestine unharmed.
For healthy digestion
In addition to the beneficial lactic acid and bifidobacteria, probaflor plus provides the intestine with additional dietary fiber.
High-quality chicory root extract is rich in inulin, a soluble dietary fiber that serves as food in the intestine, especially important bifidobacteria.
Chicory root extract contributes to the stimulation of gastrointestinal movement and can thus help to support and stimulate digestion in a natural way.
Peppermint, which is one of the medicinal herbs, has been valued for centuries for use in digestive problems. With natural peppermint extract probaflor plus contributes to the gentle support of digestion.
Nupure probaflor plus is free from unnecessary additives and contains neither lactose nor gluten.
Below you will find some excerpts on intestinal bacteria from scientific articles
From “Probiotics: how should they be defined?” von S. Salminen, A. Ouwehand, Y. Benno, Y. K Lee
"Probiotics are microbial cell preparations or components of microbial cells that have a beneficial effect on host health and well-being."
From “Probiotics, prebiotics, and synbiotics--approaching a definition” von J. Schrezenmeir , M. de Vrese:
"Probiotics refer to so-called "friendly," nonpathogenic bacterial or yeast microbiota that are intended to benefit the host by altering the microflora through implantation or colonization."
From “Probiotics and prebiotics: microflora management for improved gut health” von Roy Fuller und Glenn R. Gibson:
"There is evidence of activity of probiotics against a variety of intestinal pathogens." Nevertheless, the mechanisms of action are poorly defined. However, it can be surmised that one or more of the following possible effects are at play:
Competition for nutrients
Secretion of antimicrobial substances
Lowering of the pH value in the intestine
Blocking of adhesion sites
Suppression of virulence
Blocking of toxin receptor sites
Immunostimulation (local and systemic)
Suppression of toxin production
From “Probiotics for the prevention of pediatric antibiotic‐associated diarrhea” von Qin Guo, Joshua Z Goldenberg, Claire Humphrey, Regina El Dib und Bradley C Johnston:
"Probiotics are administered both prophylactically and therapeutically to alter mucosal, epithelial, intestinal, and systemic immune activity in ways that may benefit human health. Probiotics have been reported to improve microbial balance in the intestinal tract and exhibit both antibacterial and immunoregulatory effects in humans. Probiotics commonly administered in randomized controlled trials of AAD are: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaris, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacteria bifidum, Bifidobacteria longum, Streptococcus thermophilus, Saccharomyces boulardii, and Clostridium butyicum."
Tropical Life Sciences Research, August 2016: "One of the best known health effects of probiotics is the prevention and alleviation of intestinal diseases by improving the immune system." On the other hand, the improvement of stress-related psychiatric disorders such as anxiety and depression through the modulation of the gut-brain axis by probiotics has also further underscored the importance of probiotics."
European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, January 2019: "Taking probiotics can improve the immune system, gastrointestinal tract and female reproductive system in healthy adults."
ISRN Nutrition, January 2013: "There is scientific evidence to support the inclusion of probiotics in the diet as a means of deriving health benefits. This evidence appears to be sufficient in terms of preventing and treating certain conditions, while for others it is merely promising or even controversial. Among the best-documented effects are intestinal disorders such as lactose intolerance, antibiotic-associated diarrhea and infectious diarrhea, and allergies, and evidence is accumulating for their potential role in several other conditions."
Nutrients, September 2017: "Probiotics are considered to have high therapeutic potential, e.g. in obesity, insulin resistance syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and non-alcoholic hepatic steatosis. It also appears that probiotics may be helpful in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome, enteritis, bacterial infections, and various gastrointestinal disorders and diarrhea. Probiotic microorganisms are also effective in alleviating lactose intolerance and treating atopic dermatitis."

Adults take 2 capsules daily unchewed with a glass of water. To achieve a rapid gastric passage, nupure probaflor should be taken about 10- 20 minutes before the first meal of the day.
Since it takes some time for the bacteria to settle, nupure probaflor plus should be taken for at least 3 months. These cures can be repeated as needed. Nupure probaflor plus is also suitable for permanent intake.
Special protection due to special packaging
To ensure the highest possible survival rate, the bacteria must be carefully preserved and stored.
So-called freeze-drying removes water from the active bacteria, bringing their metabolism to a virtual standstill. When they come into contact with water again, they recover to become active organisms capable of reproducing.
Nupure probaflor plus contains 25 billion CFU (colony forming units) per daily dose. To ensure this high amount of live cultures compared to similar products, nupure probaflor plus is packaged in the absence of air. This ensures the delivery of a product protected from oxygen and moisture.
Moisture protection even after opening
To protect the capsules from moisture even after opening, we use so-called Activ-Vial cans. These are provided with a special lining that immediately absorbs penetrating moisture. This increases the survival time of the bacteria.
To ensure the longest possible shelf life and a good survival rate of the bacteria, the product should always be stored in a light-protected, cool and dry place, even after purchase.
Nupure probaflor plus is specially adapted to the intestinal flora of adults and is not suitable for children.
Do not exceed the specified recommended daily intake.
Food supplements are not intended as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Do not take it during pregnancy and lactation.

What can disturb the natural intestinal flora?
Taking antibiotics often leads to a partial or even complete destruction of one's own intestinal flora. However, other factors such as stress, poor nutrition or even psychological problems can also disrupt the intestinal flora and promote faulty colonization by unwanted microorganisms.
What happens when the intestinal flora is disturbed?
If the immune system is weak or if the balance of bacteria is upset in some other way, such as through poor nutrition, health problems can arise, especially due to an excessive proliferation of species of the yeast Candida. Intestinal inhabitants that are helpful under normal circumstances can then trigger inflammatory reactions or form unpleasant gases, leading to a variety of digestive problems. In addition, the immune system can also be further weakened.
What is chicory root extract?
Chicory root extract is a pure vegetable substance that is particularly rich in inulin. This soluble fiber cannot be digested by humans. It serves as a nutrient of some important bacteria that colonize the human intestine and can promote their settlement and multiplication.
In addition, it can have a positive effect on digestion by stimulating intestinal motility.
Is the product suitable for children?
No. Nupure probaflor plus is expressly adapted to the adult intestinal flora, which is different from that of children. For children over the age of three, we have the specially developed nupure probaflor junior in our range.
Should I store the probiotic in the refrigerator?
Nupure probaflor plus can - but does not have to - be stored in the refrigerator. However, make sure that the can is tightly closed to avoid moisture penetration.
Why do nupure products contain precisely these bacterial strains?
The strains contained in nupure probaflor plus are carefully selected to ensure optimal interaction as well as the broadest possible spectrum.
Lactobacilli are lactic acid bacteria that occur naturally in the intestine, where they break down sugar molecules.
Bifidobacteria digest glucose via lactic acid fermentation.
Both species produce acids such as lactic acid during their metabolic processes. This lowers the pH value in the intestine.
This lactic acid bacterium can digest lactose and sucrose (household sugar). In this process, it also produces, among other things, the enzyme lactase, which is used for the prevention of lactose intolerance.
Does the product contain lactose?
No, the product is free of lactose.
Is the product free of genetic engineering (GMO free)?
Yes, nupure probaflor plus is GMO-free, i.e. free of genetically modified organisms.
Are the capsules enteric-coated?
Yes, the capsule shell is enteric-coated.
